Detailed description is The Environment-Based Learning (EBL) graduate program is designed for natural teachers of all subject areas who take K-12 students outdoors for real-world learning experiences. The Mary Baldwin College Master of Education program in Environment-Based Learning (EBL) is designed for natural teachers who use the outdoors as a catalyst for teaching all subjects. Each course is taught by a highly qualified instructor who encourages use of the environment to help K-12 students develop critical thinking skills, become better problem-solvers, and understand in-depth issues, all while gaining an appreciation for the environment. We offer a mixture of on-line and summer week-long courses. so that educators from the mid-Atlantic states and beyond can complete the degree or certification.
