Detailed description is Student operated gallery located at HCC Ybor City Campus. HCC YBOR CITY OPENS NEW STUDENT ART GALLERY WITH INAUGURAL EXHIBTION, EMERGE. . Tampa – Nestled in the heart of the historic Ybor City district, HCC opens a new student art gallery with EMERGE: a visual art exhibition. Fondly named for the gallery layout, MAZE Gallery will showcase artwork from HCC students, faculty, staff, and alumni.. . EMERGE is an exhibition of recent works from HCC art students enrolled in Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture classes. Featured artists include: J. Alderiso, Jessica Barber, Dylan Barry, Jeffrey Agno Chin, Michelle Domanski, Cor Andrew Fahringer, Keesha Jimenea, Tony Lee, Amara Manickchand, Sean Moilanen, Justin Myers, Alice Nelson, Torey Nordstrum, Susan O'Hara, Jerad Owens, Courtney Park, Venessa Rivas and Stephanie Julianna Wadman. . . The exhibition opens on Wednesday, October 3rd and runs through Tuesday, October 30th. There will be an opening reception from 4:30 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3rd. . . MAZE Gallery is the newest project from the HCC art department. The gallery will be open to the public throughout the academic year. MAZE is programmed and managed exclusively by the college's Professional Art Practices class and is student driven. As a part of the Professional Art Practices class these students curate, install and host each event at MAZE Gallery giving students experience and insight into gallery practices. MAZE Gallery will be open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. or by appointment. The gallery is located at 2112 Palm Ave. on the third floor of the Administration Building.. .
