The early years involved work in highway projects with expansion into marine crossings and pipeline work.. . In 1984, the purchase of overburden anchor drills allowed expansion into the rock and soil anchor business. In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, the company expanded into northern Canada with permafrost piling projects and various municipal projects in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. We have recently opened an office in Chetwynd, BC for drilling and blasting services as well as pre-drilling for piles.. . Our company has utilized its resources to modernize its fleet of drills and continues to replace and upgrade its vehicles and equipment.. . McCaw's North Drilling and Blasting Ltd is a sister company that operates out of Yellowknife, NT at 1A Melville Drive.
