Detailed description is Locally and privately owned and operated, we are one of Columbia County's largest state certified childcare centers, striving to keep kids happy and healthy and learning the fun way! Here at Monkey Tree Learning Center our highly qualified staff strive every day to provide a safe, loving, educational environment for your children. We happily accept children from six weeks to twelve years of age, placing them in developmentally and age appropriate classrooms themed to spark your child's imagination. Our teachers have years of experience in making your child's day one where they come home telling you of the new and exciting things they've learned. They will share the new songs they've sung and bring home projects that you can proudly display in your home. Their new-found knowledge not only from the curriculum we offer but from the lessons they've learned from our staff as well as one another will teach them valuable lessons for years to come. While in our care, kids have various stations to choose from that encourages mental and physical growth to include (but definitely not limited to) math, science, music, dress up, art and many more. . . We are proud to supply well balanced and nutritious meals in order for your child to learn healthy eating habits from a young age and teach kids about the importance of nutrition. We offer breakfast from opening until 7:45am, a morning snack at 9am, lunch between 11 and 12 (depending on your child's classroom schedule), an afternoon snack between 2:30 and 3:30pm and a super light snack at 6pm if your child is still here. . . Our hours are from 6am to 6:30pm for those of you with that long Portland commute or those no fun, early morning hours. Each child receives loving care and attention at Monkey Tree. Your child will love our large collection of toys and games. We have a great array of new playground equipment to encourage climbing, running and jumping in our outdoor playground. We take your children on walks around the premises to promote exploration and exercise. . . As a mother or a father, you can feel secure that your child will be cared for with the respect, diligence and love that we would provide our own children with.
