The Symposium provides a venue for sharing research with the academic community, peers, and the greater community through poster displays as well as oral and multimedia presentations. . . Open to undergraduate and graduate student participation, the Symposium aims to promote interdisciplinary research and collaboration in the hope of instilling in our students the importance of exploring issues from multiple perspectives. Proposals that cross boundaries among disciplines are thus encouraged. Similar presentations will be grouped together in regards to their “theme” rather than discipline or college derivation, and there are several monetary awards for the top interdisciplinary presentations.. .
