Detailed description is Custom Vinyl Graphics, Vehicle Lettering and Signs. Opened in September 2000. I purchased an existing sign company from Rich Durant. He went by the name Richies Signs. When I originally set-up I was using my step-mom's hair dressing room. Her tanning bed was a good place to layout the vinyl after it was cut and weeded. In the spring of 2001 we added on to State Bridge Collision. There were two work bays and a sandblasting bay downstairs. Upstairs I had an office that was about 16' x 28'. I did a lot of work out of that room. Lots of hours learning the basics. A few years later I moved my stuff home for a summer. It was set-up in my kitchen, not cool at all! I then moved it back down to State Bridge Collision. I was now downstairs right next to our old wash bay. This was the perfect set up. I did the majority of my work in that bay. Now having everything on the same floor and 20' away was ideal. We then sold State Bridge to Spink Lumber. The sign business was moved again, this time across the street into the Ace Replacement Parts building. At this point I was the busiest I have ever been. My design skills were very sharp, lots of work and good customers. I decided to branch out and do apparel, plaques, mugs, tags, using a new process called sublimation. This was a cool product. Photo quality images on just about everything. However it was not very profitable for me and my business suffered. At this point I essentially boxed up the sublimation stuff paid it off and went back to doing what I do best signs, lettering and vehicle graphics. We then leased the Ace building out so homeward bound was the sign business again.. This was a slow period due to a poor ecomony and working full time out of town. After one years time the lease was over at Ace and I moved the sign equipment back in there. One last move brings everything back home. So now I have a nice set-up inside my house. I also have a family of little Mooty boys who love to "make the vinyl." Our Saturdays are usually spent making signs and spending time together. Slowly I have been resharpening my skills, putting out quality products and regaining market presence. Enjoying every minute of it!!
