Each of the 9 song collections explores music through songs & chants with a wide variety of styles, rhythms, scales & instruments besides providing a broad musical vocabulary.. Similarly to developing a large vocabulary and good verbal skills, the more live music a child is exposed to, the more confident she or he will be to participate in the music of their own culture.. . By enrolling your child to a Music Together class, you are moving towards having your child being part of a rich musical environment. Each class meets once a week for 45 minutes. The learning continues throughout the week as the songs you learned in class can, repeatedly & easily, be done at home by incorporating the songs into the family’s daily routine or modeling the class activities.. .
