Detailed description is Montessori toddler program for ages 12 months- 3 years Nest House is a Montessori inspired toddler program for children age 12 months to 3 years. We have a small group of six children with two teachers.. About the staff:. Jody Fein, LCSW: Teacher and Director. Jody has been in the early childhood profession for more than 30 years as a teacher, infant mental health specialist and storyteller. She has a BA in theater from Oberlin College and a Masters in Social Work from Boston College. Jody and her partner, Robb Hetzler, built Nest House themselves in 2004. It is an energy efficient bermed building nestled in a hill and surrounded by open fields and farms in the "land of nod" area of Windham 7 miles northwest of Portland. Jody completed the Infant Toddler Montessori credential from North American Montessori Center in 2011.. Archana Mayfield: Teacher . Archana comes from the Mumbai area of India and currently lives in Windham with her husband, Jerry and their son, Shantanu. They practice and teach Sahaj Yoga and offer their knowledge freely to the Nest House community and general public. Archana completed the Infant Toddler credential from North American Montessori Center in 2013 and offers her knowledge of meditation, music, cooking and Aryuvedic principles with a very open heart!. Sue Brooks, Teacher and Assistant Director. Like Jody, Sue has more than 30 years experience in early childhood. She has a degree in Art Education from USM and a Masters in Early Childhood from Wheelock College. Sue was the director at Gorham House Children's program and has extensive experience teaching young children. She recently completed a course in Infant Mental Health through USM and inspires us as an educator and lifelong learner in all things related to young children and families!
