Detailed description is NDCC was founded in 2014 as a national network organization serving Black community development organizations. The Network for Developing Conscious Communities is a network organization that fosters conscious innovative and collaborative relationships among Black community leaders of different incomes, professions, ideologies and from different sectors of the community development movements to address the complexity of Black neighborhood’s socio-economic challenges. While building economically cooperative and equitable communities, NDCC directly confronts the disconnect that exists in Black communities around leadership, income disparity and indigenous decision making.
