Detailed description is Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit, no kill shelter in the Rockford Area. We are located at 111 N First Street Rockford Illinois. We take in stray and owner surrender cats and dogs. Our adoption qualifications are that everyone in the household must come in and meet the animal. If you are looking at a dog and already have one, then we must have a dog meeting to make sure they get along. If you rent then we need a copy of your lease stating that you can have a pet and any size/breed restrictions. If there is a pet deposit then that needs to be paid prior to picking up your new pet and we will need to have a copy of that also.. . The adoption fee is $175 for dogs that are 7 months and older. Adoption fee is $275 for puppies 7 months and younger. Kitten adoptions are $85, cats over 7 months old are $40.. . All animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots for their age, and will have a rabies vaccination if they are older than 4 months.
