Dance Is What We Do.
Vicki VanWagnen, an accredited Dance Movement Therapist, opened Reflections Dance Studio in Alpena, MI in 2006.
When it first began, Reflections lived under Down Home Optometry.
Through 2009 class sizes grew and eventually classes were taught at the A-Plex.
For reasons of her own, Vicki decided to take a break from the Dance Studio and that brings us to where we are today....

In 2013 Vicki, announced the re-opening of Reflections Dance Studio.
With a new space and some fresh faces, Reflections is on its way.
Vicki has plans of expanding her class sizes and hopefully making it back to teaching at the A-Plex.
She also plans to start a group, Zephyr Dance Company, that will focus on dance outreach through area schools..

2014 was a year of growth and movement with the studio changing locations and names.
With a little help from a few friends, namely Morgan Suszek and Stephanie Snyder, things have gone swimmingly.
The move wasn't too far, in fact, it's a little easier to find now...make sure you check the address change.
Also, in an attempt to promote creativity and reach out to those who may be interested in other things than dance Reflections Dance Studio became known as the Northeast Michigan School of Creative Studies.
2015 has already proved to be an interesting year and it's going to get better from here.
