Our diverse membership of traditional, contemporary and art quilters, who span the ability range from novice to professional, come from a wide geographical area that includes NYC, Westchester, Putnam and Rockland Counties in NY, and Fairfield and Litchfield Counties in CT. . . We are a not-for-profit corporation whose purpose is to promote interest in, and encourage proficiency and expression in the art of quilting through stimulation of thought, exchange of ideas, mutual assistance and educational opportunities. Nationally known guest speakers and workshops are provided 5 months of the year, we have in-house educational programs in the weather-problem months of winter and we do not meet in July or August when our meeting place is closed.
