Detailed description is Not Quite Tipsy is a boisterous Baltimore based band playing raucous Irish and American music. High Powered Irish Folk. . Back in 2002 or so, we started this band to fool around and play some Pogues covers and Irish music. Jeremy learned to play bodhran, Billyjack could already play guitar, and Spoon was playing whistles. Along the way he added harmonica, banjo, and mandolin. . We played parties, the ywca, some punk shows, the Friendly Inn, happy hour at the Mojo Room, even a Kim Chi restaurant . It was fun. . Tim joined on drums and Jeremy went back to bass. Scott was with us for a while. Then things wound down. . Here and there we'd get together for a party or Paddy's Day, but nothing regular. . A decade later we are back together. Melanie joined on bass, Jeremy is back to bodhran and is learning fiddle, Spoon is still our musical genius ( am not! - Spoon ), and Billy Jack is learning tenor banjo and mandolin.
