Detailed description is Nutrication is a nutrition & exercise education program for children ages 7-12. We offer a variety of classes from cooking to sports to self defense! Nutrication is a nutrition and exercise education program for children ages 6-14. Our program is run by college interns majoring in nutritional sciences and hosted by local schools, parks & rec, etc. We teach cooking skills, nutrition, sports, dance, yoga, self-defense and more! Kids get to experience it all when they come to our camps.. . While our camps are educational, our main goal is for the kids to have FUN! We want to expose them to new foods and exercises that they can bring home and share with family and friends.. . Our Mission. Our mission is to decrease the rates of childhood obesity by integrating fun into a healthy lifestyle. We hope to inspire these kids to eat right and exercise more all while having FUN in a safe environment.. . The world has been treating disease with medicine rather than preventing it with nutrition. We believe we can create a healthier world by educating people before it's too late.. . Our other focus is on our interns. We want to provide local college students with a stimulating experience to help them develop as professionals and as people. This program will challenge them to use their education and experience to show these kids how to create a better tomorrow.
