Detailed description is Portrait, Family, Cityscape, Night Photographer in Richmond, Virginia. "Capturing Life on Shot at a Time." Ever since I was young I had an infatuation with capturing the world around me. While it started with the fine arts of foraging my back yard and bug collecting, it has now grown in to the preservation of moments through photography. I discovered this desire in 2011 after becoming a father to three children. Their growth reminded me how fast time moves and awakened my need to remember and cherish each moment with them. As well, I had the opportunity to see the world through their eyes. All of a sudden I wanted to preserve every flower, every landscape, and every building in a picture.. My home base is Richmond, Virginia and I've lived here most of my life. It's a city that is always changing, and I've developed a great appreciation for that. The sunsets on the city line awakened my love of landscapes and moved me to draw inspiration from fellow professional photographers. I began this journey by watching many of the great photographers of my generation, such as Serge Ramelli, then taking their skills and applying them to my own style. Through this, I have been able to grow my photography skill set and rapport within the Richmond area. . I consider myself fluent in both Photoshop and Lightroom, these tools give me the ability to take a great shot, and make it one of a kind. Currently my gear consist of Nikon Camera Bodies, Nikor Lenses, Tamaron Lenses, and Rokinon lenses, but as any photographer knows, I'm sure it will grow..and grow...and grow.. .
