Detailed description is Offa Descendants Union of North America (ODUNA) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit association. The organization provides a forum for indigene of Offa from Kwara State, Nigeria and friends of Offa across North America to leverage their resources and institute constructive changes in our communities both here in the USA and back in Offa, Nigeria.. . ODUNA has been awarding academic scholarship to indigene high school students in Offa, Kwara State Nigeria for over ten years. This past academic year, we awarded "twenty four" ten thousand naira High School Scholarships and "one" fifty thousand naira University Scholarship. This year December we are planning a health care mission to Offa in Nigeria from December 28th, 2015 to January 2nd, 2016. During the mission, we will conduct free screening for high blood pressure, Diabetes Mellitus, Asthma and other common diseases and provide free treatment. We will link patients up with the healthcare providers within the community for continuity of care. We will also conduct workshops and training for the local healthcare providers.. . We will appreciate your financial support and donation in the form of medical materials such as , sphygmomanometers, stethoscopes, Glucometers, Glucose test strips, nebulizer machines, meter Dose inhalers (MDI) and so on. We also need medications that includes; anti hypertensive, Oral diabetic medications, insulin, Asthma medications, Pain medications, Prenatal vitamins, Multivitamins, Anti-fungal, Ulcer medications, antibiotics, and so on.. .
