Detailed description is Stylish self-catering apartment offering comfortable home to home space for two to four people. The Studio is located in a cart lodge within the grounds of a beautiful listed property dating circa 1642 which has been our family home for 35 years. The space is fitted out to a high spec with a character walnut double bed and luxury en-suite with shower. The kitchen is fitted with a microwave, Siemens oven, induction hob, fridge and washing machine. The lower level room is a purpose made recording studio which we will ensure is not in use during your stay! There is a comfortable double sofa bed if required with an additional £20 charge per person if the booking is for 4 rather than 2 people. The layout of the Studio would mean that guests staying in the lower level room would need to walk through the upstairs bedroom to use the ensuite. The small recording room, adjacent to this second bedroom, will be locked to guests. Wi-fi is accessed throughout the flat.. . The comfortable kitchen/lounge is amply equipped if you prefer to cook in and watch a DVD or movie on Netflix! There are two excellent pubs offering great food within walking distance and various restaurants and takeaways a few minutes drive away in Ongar.. Until recently, the Studio was occupied by our musician son who recorded various musicians including his own Ska and Folk bands! Now our children have fled the nest we are missing the activity of the constant stream of guests and visitors, mostly of the creative type! We now enjoy sharing our home and welcoming guests to experience this lovely area of the countryside yet still within a relatively short driving distance of London and Stansted Airport. It is possible that we could provide a collection/drop off to the airport - please do ask when booking..
