Detailed description is Operation Veggie Box will provide fresh vegetables and the Good News of Jesus Christ to the hungry. OVB is a Disciples of Christ Ministry started at Bethany Christian Church that will supply fresh produce to the hungry in Pamlico County. More importantly, we will also be providing the Good News of Jesus Christ. The produce and the Good News will be packaged into boxes and delivered via the Fishes and Loaves Ministry in Pamlico County, as well as, by the members of Bethany Christian Church and others directly to those in need.. . OVB is a front line Christian ministry that will try to find those who are suffering, or isolated from God, and attempt to address their physical and/or spiritual hunger needs.. . We are trying to extend the ministry to other churches and organizations! So if you have an interest in starting your own OVB garden just let us know. When possible we want to standardize on the production side to reduce costs and partner with other organizations to improve distribution and outreach impacts. . .
