Detailed description is Our lab studies parent-infant interactions in families who have a child with autism or other developmental disabilities to understand behavioral themes. The Parent-Infant Interaction Lab at Montclair State University studies parent-infant interactions in families who have a child with autism or other developmental disability in order to better understand recurring behavioral themes and how these themes may facilitate development. More specifically, we are interested in characterizing mother styles. We are always looking for parents with infants younger than 36 months old (with or without a developmental disorder) to participate in our study. . Participants receive a children's book along with a video recording of their session with their child. Additionally, participants are given a parent report which includes their children's scores and information about the measures used.
