Detailed description is El Parque Estatal Black Moshannon es un área de 1409 ha, y forma parte de los 120 Parques estatales de Pensilvania, ubicado en el condado de Centre dentro del Municipio de Rush en Pensilvania, Estados Unidos. Dentro de su territorio se encuentra el lago Black Moshannon, formado por la represa del arroyo Black Moshannon, que ha dado su nombre al lago y al parque. El parque se encuentra justo al oeste de la escarpa "Allegheny Front", y a unos 14 km al este de Philipsburg por la Ruta Estatal de Pensilvania 504. Además gran parte de su perímetro es rodeado por el Bosque Estatal Moshannon.El parque posee una enorme zona de pantanos que proporcionan un hábitat ideal para una fauna y flora muy diversas con especies difíciles de encontrar en otras áreas del estado, tales como plantas carnívoras, orquídeas, y otras especies que normalmente se localizan más al norte.
