The Perennial Public Power District's electric system is a transmission and distribution system consisting of 198 miles of 34.5 and 69 kV transmission lines, 1,835 miles of primary distribution system, and 20 substations.
Approximately twelve miles of the 2,033 miles of line are underground.
The District receives all of its power and energy at four delivery points, through the Nebraska Electric Generation and Transmission Cooperative Inc., from Nebraska Public Power District .
