The current owner and operator of pet vacations Russ Moore, is a long time dog-training enthusiast.
Obtained his bachelors of Animal Science from The Ohio State University and then enlisted into the United States Marine Corps where he served as a bomb dog handler completing schools such as Dept.
of Defense Dog Training School, as well as functioned as a Kennel Master at Marine Corps Air Station El Torro.
While serving in the Marines, Russ competed in several California State Championships placing 1st.
On his off time he would work for Disneyland Resort training dogs for perimeter security.
After his stent in the Marines, Russ and his family moved back to Ohio where he was involved in French Ring Sport as well instructing obedience class for the local Mount Vernon YMCA.
