Detailed description is Phi Mu promotes vibrant living and encourages each member to achieve their personal best as we strive to follow our three ideals: love, honor, and truth. Our chapter of Phi Mu is located at Jacksonville State University. Our sorority is based on three main principles: Love, Honor, and Truth. These ideals bring our diverse chapter together and help form bonds that will last a lifetime. . . Phi Mu is more than just letters on a t-shirt. She is a support system whenever you need her. She is the driving force of her sisters. She is the perfect way to get involved on and off campus. She is the comfort of a familiar face, the confidence to meet new people, and the love every woman needs. She is the ideal way to be a part of something bigger than yourself.. . As a whole, the sisters of Phi Mu are leaders, volunteers, athletes, philanthropists, mentors, artists, scholars and much more. We currently have women in our chapter who are involved in: Ambassadors, Freshman Forum, SGA Student Senate, Campus Outreach, Baptist Campus Ministries, Students Today Alumni Tomorrow, Honors Program, Go-Go's, Marching Ballerinas, and our sister is currently MISS JSU 2013!!!. . Despite all of the individual accomplishments of our sisters, a Phi Mu never loses sight of her purpose for others. Phi Mu is a Philanthropic Society and our National Philanthropy, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, is always close to our hearts! We are lucky to be very close to the Children's Hospital in Birmingham because it offers ample opportunities for us to stay involved in CMNH!
