Detailed description is Plainview is a city in Pierce County, Nebraska, United States. It is part of the Norfolk, Nebraska Micropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,246 at the 2010 census.HistoryPlainview was platted in 1880 when the railroad was extended to that point.
