Detailed description is The Point Roberts - Boundary Bay Border Crossing connects the communities of Point Roberts, Washington and Tsawwassen, British Columbia on the Canada–US border. This crossing serves as the only land link for residents of Point Roberts between their homes and the Contiguous United States. It is a peninsula that is connected only to Canada, making it a pene-exclave of the U.S.For many years, a second border crossing also connected these communities at Meadow Lane and 67th Street, about a mile to the east. That crossing was closed by both the US and Canada in 1975, but the historic Canada border station still stands. Crossing the border at the Meadow Lane location is now prohibited.
