Detailed description is Success Program assists low-income families with accessing resources, helps children achieve in the classroom, and moves families towards self-sufficiency. The Success Program has been assisting low-income families in Butler County, Ohio for twelve years through the Butler County Educational Service Center and began a partnership with National Trail School District during the 2015-2016 school year. The Preble County Success Program now has liaisons serving children ages K-12th grade and their families in all five school districts in Preble County: Leslie Bassler at Eaton, Allie Shafter at Twin Valley South, Molly Gardner at Tri County North, Christine Wilson at Preble Shawnee, and Heather Ludy at National Trail. The Success Program is currently funded by a one year grant through the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.. . The core strategy of the program is placing liaisons in the school districts to help build relationships with low-income families, connecting them with community partners, and encouraging parents to become more invested in their children's education.
