I'm Crysta Foster, founder of Preservation Photo Knoxville. I'm a one-woman show around here, dedicated to giving you a photography experience you will love and enjoy., as well as memories to last a lifetime. . . I love all things vintage, old, rusty, dusty, and charming. There's something about old photographs that intrigues me, whether it be the simplicity of the shot itself or of the era in which they were taken.. . I've set out to ensure that I capture that intrigue in my photos and give my clients a simple and beautiful experience, free of pressure, and free of stiff posing. If you feel comfortable in front of the camera, that's great; if you aren't comfortable having your photo taken - I can relate. Either way, I'll do my utmost to ensure you have a great time at your session and capture that on camera.. . Because I love the simplicity of black and white photography, I've made that my specialty - but I do photograph everything in color. You have the option to choose one or both in most scenarios.. . You don't have to worry about your photos getting lost or misplaced. I don't outsource my editing (I love this part of my job), and all photos are backed up twice before you ever see them - which gives you peace of mind in knowing your memories are safe. I pride myself on having a maximum 6 week turnaround, no matter how big or small your event is. You will have your photos in hand no later than 6 weeks' time.. . And last, but not least, if you have that special vintage photo that may need a little help restoring it to its former glory, I can get it looking (almost) as good as new.
