Detailed description is Progress Inc. is a private non-profit agency promoting persons with a developmental disabilities. We promote community integration, community jobs, earning a pay-check, self sufficiency and personal growth. About Progress, Inc.. . Progress, Inc. is a non-profit started in 1991 to provide work and training to people with developmental disabilities in a community setting. These services are referred to as Day Training & Habilitation (or DT&H) and are licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.. . The location is on the east end of Main Street in Pipestone with convenient access to local businesses and work. Over the years, the original site has undergone many improvements, and still serves as the agency's home. In 2002, Progress, Inc. of Edgerton was opened to employ people who choose to work in the Edgerton, MN area. The third addition to the Progress family is a renovated house located just north of the original Progress building. This smaller setting offers therapeutic activities, as well as space for special activities like baking or crafts.. . Progress remains dedicated to promoting the independence of people with a variety of needs and challenges - offering training and support to find meaningful work and lead rewarding lives..
