The Psychology Club has three primary missions in serving the students and faculty of the Hawaii Pacific University Psychology Department: [1] academic (e.g., hosting symposiums, the department's annual conference, guest lectures, and career information), [2] social (e.g., picnics, movie nights, student-faculty get-togethers, etc.), and [3] service (e.g., creating or engaging in fundraisers, volunteering with community service organizations and charities, participating with other clubs at HPU in university service projects and events, etc.). . . Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology. Our award-winning chapter has an outstanding history of excellence, having been named by the Psi Chi Central Office as a "Model Chapter" consecutively since the 2007-2008 school year. Less than 3% of chapters typically achieve this status in a given year and no other chapter in the state ever has.
