Built by the locomotive works in 1918 with low gearing making it ideal for running on industrail tracks and working in the woods for hauling timber.
after several years and several owners the Shay made its way to Boonville and became part of the Lvingston Lansing estate.
after his death the shay was bequeathed to The RHSNNY in 1993.
it is on display though it does need extensive boiler restoration..
