Detailed description is I create chain maille jewelry and make pottery, specifically soap dishes, vases and mugs. I started making chain maille around 2006. I love taking silver wire, winding it into springs and then cutting it to make jump rings. Putting the rings together and creating beautiful pieces of jewelry is always such a satisfying feeling. I've taken classes at William Holland Laidary School in Georgia as well as being instructed by local Silversmith Terry Scott of Pass Christian, MS. . . All chain maille I make is handcrafted from sterling silver, bronze, gold-filled, stainless steel or anodized aluminum. If I don't make my own rings I order from USA companies and try to keep it "Made in America".. . I've been doing Pottery for about a year now. My teacher is local artist, Dena Ladner of De Lisle, MS. Each piece of pottery is handcrafted and one of a kind. Whimsies, vases and mugs with faces on them, are all made with clay from a pottery supply house in Baton Rouge, LA, a USA owned and operated company.. .
