Today, a lot of companies like to use CNC machines and computer programming to mass produce perfectly cut boards with computer generated graphics to give the board any style. . . At Revert Boards we like to create boards the old fashioned way. The process of creating each board starts with individual veneers, which are then pressed into a 7-layer layup. After pressing for 24 hours to give each board it's concave, the uncut blank is what we have. At this point the shape of the board is traced out onto the blank, and then the board is cut out by hand. The board is then sanded using varying types of sandpaper to achieve the best finish possible. After all that, the board still needs a bit of style. Wood stain is applied by hand in different patterns and styles (you can see all the different styles by checking out our shop). . . In addition to the standard boards that are offered, we have "one-of-a-kind" decks that are offered. These decks use different mediums for the artwork, ranging from acrylic enamel to fiberglass. . .
