Mims was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Lucious Thompson and Henrietta Mobley-Walker.
She is the mother of four, Morris, Charles, Christopher and Renarda.
The mother in law of Reginald Mosley, Tamara Halyard, and Brenda Smith.
She is the proud grand parent of Amari & Lil-Mo, Miles, Genesis & MaKayla.
She is a graduate of Samuel W.
Wolfson Senior High School in which she graduated with honors.
She received her Doctor of Divinity Degree from St.
Thomas Christian College in Jacksonville, Florida and is presently working on her Bachelor Degree in Christian Psychology.She is the Senior Pastor of Reviving the Remnant Holy Family Church, where she has served faithfully as Pastor for 25 years.
The Strength of her ministry was tested on April 4, 2009, at her Strong Women for Jesus Conference, when the man of her life for 15 years her husband after preaching The Gospel sat down and stepped into Glory to be with the Lord.
Challenged by the Word, and tested by God, she continues to preach with power the word of God.
Dr.
Barbara Mims takes her call serious and is known throughout Jacksonville and North America for her ability to address real issues while not compromising her authenticity.
As her ministry centers on deliverance and warfare, she herself received a diagnosis in 1994 by doctors of having the chronic and often debilitating disease of Lupus.
Dr.
Barbara Mims immediately realized that this was an attack by the enemy, and she began to renounce this disease.
In 1996 she was pronounced free of Lupus and all antibodies, and continues to preach the healing power of Jesus Christ, under the strong prophetic anointing God has gifted her with.

Assistant Pastor Morris James Halyard III was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida he is the son of Pastor’s Morris Halyard (United Missionary Baptist) and Apostle Barbara Mims & Pastor Rudolph Mims.
He is married to his lover and friend Gospel recording artist Evangelist Tamara F.
Halyard and they 2 sons Morris IV and Miles.

Pastor Scott Allen Marolt is the son of Raymond and Carol Marolt.
He was raised in Ely, MN and at the age of 15 moved to Jacksonville, FL and graduated from Wolfson High School in 1990..

Immediately after high school he joined the United States Marine Corp, served in Operation Desert Storm and ran operations in South America as a Marine Corp Sniper.
In 1994, he departed with the Marine Corp and began a new life with his wife and lover, Amikco Marolt.
Together, they have two children, Allen and Allana Marolt..

In 1995, Scott and Amikco joined Reviving the Remnant Holy Family Church (formerly New St.
James Holy Family Church) as members and have faithfully served in various areas of the ministry.
He served as a youth leader and as a praise team member.
Scott answered his call into ministry and was set aside in 2007 and ordained on May 31, 2009.
Shortly thereafter, he was set aside and appointed Youth Pastor of Reviving the Remnant Holy Family Church.
Pastor Scott gladly accepts the call of God and ministers to both young and old as a spiritual leader in this holy family, Reviving the Remnant.

Pastor Xavier McClendon is the son of Evangelist Antonette James and John Henderson of Jacksonville, Florida.
He is the husband of Syrita McClendon and they both have one daughter Aniyah McClendon.
Pastor Xavier has been under the leadership and direction of Apostle Mims and Reviving the Remnant Holy Family Church(Formerly New St.
James Holy Family Church) for all of his 25 years.
He is a graduate of Englewood High School class of 2006 and presently working towards his Bachelors degree in Busniess Management.
