Detailed description is Updates about Dulaney High School's robotics team, REX 1727. Dulaney Robotics is an after-school robotics program affiliated with Dulaney High School in Timonium, MD. The program's advisors are Mr. Chris Buckler and Mr. Jamie Gaskin, who are technology education, Project Lead The Way (PLTW), and HVAC teachers at Dulaney High School. The program is widely known by the name "REX", a regal name associated with the school's mascot, the lion. The club's number, 1727, is assigned by the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation (RECF). We compete as a VEX program, but the 1727 number honors our heritage as a FIRST team. The mission of REX 1727 is to inspire and engage budding computer scientists and engineers through competitive robotics. We strive for excellence on the competition field, in our work habits, with our relationships, and in our academics. We are also active event hosts, contributing to many other programs' robotics competitions all over Maryland. Check out this channel for news, notes, and updates about our program!
