Detailed description is Right at Home Maple is a family owned and operated business. Our goal is to make the highest quality maple syrup for our customers and thier families. We started out in 2010 with a homemade evaporator, homemade pan, and 25 taps. We made a total of 3 gallons that year. Even though it was long hours and hardwork, we loved every minute. So in October of 2010 we bought a 2 by 6 foot evaporator and pans, and converted our 4-wheeler shed into a sugarhouse. The 2011 season we upgraded to about 200-250 taps. We tapped trees around our home, all of which were buckets. When all was said and done, after all the collection and boiling we ended the season with 42 gallons. There are many additions for the 2012 season coming up. More taps, more storage and hopefully more syrup!
