Detailed description is Come show off your pole vault skills July 1st and 2nd in front of a huge crowd at Riverfest 2011! It’s back! Thanks to YOU, last year’s River Vault was an enormous success. This year will be even better with more athletes, more prizes, more days, and much more fun! . . The cost of just $35 gets you into the competition, a 2011 River Vault t-shirt, and a Riverfest button that gets you all access to all Riverfest activities the entire weekend. People of all ages and heights are welcome and encouraged to join. This is a great chance for athletes to continue vaulting in the summer in front of a large crowd! The competition will be held in the grass overlooking the river. There is a 10 inch raised rubber runway and the biggest and safest pits available for athletes.. . Along with the vault competition, there will be a raffle for a grand prize give away of a brand new pole vault pole! Also in the raffle will be shirts, gift certificates, athletic equipment, and much, much more!. A PA system will be on site for announcing the competition and playing music. The festival itself has food, beverages, and many other fun sights and sounds.. .
