Detailed description is Riding Lessons, Rodeo Event Clinics, Trail Riding, Training, Horse Camps, and Almost Anything Horse!. RodeoKat’s Riding Lessons & More is a business designed around an extensive amount of time with horses and rodeo. Provided will be the service of riding lessons, rodeo event clinics, trail riding, training, horse camps, and almost anything horse! My clients will be of a wide age range. All skill levels are welcome.. The business will be flexible as an outdoor arena is available, an arena can be rented for the day that is within a very close distance, and clients can be traveled to if they have their own horse. The business is located in the prime place for trail riding, within a 30 minute drive to three different trails for those who enjoy the relaxing scenery in the beautiful Shawnee National Forest. Not only is one-on-one instruction an option with clients, groups of up to five people can be taken on a trail ride, groups of up to ten in a clinic, and up to two for a private lesson. Exceptions can be made to accommodate customers.. I have been riding horses my whole life and have been competing in rodeo with horses for over ten years. I interact with horses on a daily basis. Horses are a core part of the southern Illinois culture and give an extra flare to the variety of possibilities in the midwest region. I am highly qualified to advise riders who are wanting to further their skills with horses. I am knowledgeable in many different disciplines of riding. From western pleasure, halter classes, speed events, and rodeo, I have done it all. I hold arena records and have competed on national levels in several states. I have also attended clinics with Olympic medalists at their ranch. . There is something for everyone! Whether you are a beginning rider who wants to start at a slow walk, or you are more advanced and ready to sharpen your skills, there is a large selection here at the farm. I take pride in my ability to create a one-on-one relationship with my clients, I love to work with children, and believe that trust is very important when working with animals as large as horses. I have worked with a rider who has special needs and have learned to modify my instructions so that they are tailor-made to meet every rider’s specific needs to benefit them and make their experience as enjoyable as possible.. My target area is of those who are visiting southern Illinois and of those who already live here who own or would like to experience time with horses. My geographic location can be broadened by traveling to give clinics or lessons. . .
