Gold Beach Oregon Travis grew up on the Rogue River just eight miles up stream from Gold Beach. He has been greatly influenced by his father and many other local guides while growing up on the Rogue River. When Travis is not guiding on the river, you can find him piloting a tour boat for Jerrys Rogue Jets. Between fishing and driving the tour boats, Travis is on the river almost everyday. There is nothing Travis enjoys more than to show people a great time on the Rogue River and have people HOOKED for life. Come fish with Travis and have the best experience of your life.. . Winter Steelhead Fishing: December - March. Winter Steelhead are anywhere from 6lbs to 18lbs. Depending on the weather we will fish either on the Rogue River, Sixes River or the Elk River. Enjoy fishing for winter Steelhead out of Travis's fully furnished 24ft North River comander power boat or his Willies drift boat.. . Spring Salmon: March - June. The Rogue River provides the best spring Chinook Salmon fishing in Oregon. Spring Chinook Salmon are anywhere from 16lbs to 40lbs and are delicious to eat. Spring Salmon fishing is out of Travis's powerboat that is fully furnished with a top and heater. Also, Travis provides a gourmet breakfast right on the boat. Catching Salmon and having breakfast on the rogue river is priceless.. . Fall Salmon: July - October. The Rogue River has some of the best Fall Chinook Salmon Fishing in the world! Fall Chinook Salmon are anywhere from 15lbs to 50lbs. Durring this time of the year we have both Chinook and Coho salmon. Coho average 8lbs. Fall Salmon are caught either trolling in the bay of the Rogue River or Side drifting 8 to 30 miles up the Rogue River in Travis's power boat.. . Summer Steelhead: July - October. The Rogue River provides great summer Steelhead fishing. Summer Steelhead are anywhere from a half pound to 6lbs. Travis takes you up into the wild section of the Rogue river where you have an amazing experience catching summer steelhead.. .
