For the first time ever, LCF is parterning with The University of Kentucky Healthcare and the Markey Cancer Center to bring you two amazing events! The Ironcology Survive the Night Triathalon and Roll for the Cure will take place on Friday, June 17, 2016 – Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Commonwealth Stadium. . . All of us have been, or will be, affected by cancer at some point in our lives. It’s a horrific disease and it doesn’t discriminate. Founded in 2004, LCF was formed to raise the funding necessary to help defeat this disease. The dollars generated by LCF events provide cancer specific education, cutting edge research with a view towards finding a cure, and access to often overlooked personal care needs for those patients currently in the fight against cancer. Since 2004, over $10 million has been raised in support of our mission. The funds raised from this fun-filled weekend will be directed specifically toward pediatric cancer.
