Detailed description is Run For Your Lives returns to St.
Charles this year, and we hope you are ready for a serious case of the spooks! The Run For Your Lives consists of USATF Sanctioned 5k races that originated as a fundraiser for the St.
Charles High School Cross Country team.
This year, proceeds will benefit St.
Charles High School Track and Field.
The “Spook-Free” 5k will begin at 2:30pm, with the “Spooky” run to follow at 4:30pm.
Both events are run/walk friendly, and costumes are encouraged! All ages are welcome, so bring the whole family out to this fun, festive event..

Course Description.

Run For Your Lives starts at C.M.
Humpula Funeral Home which is located in St.
Charles Industrial Park on the east side of M-52 just north of downtown St.
Charles.
The race will start on Entrepreneur Dr.
and head out the rail trail towards town.
The course is an out-and-back, running through some side streets and then back to the funeral home.
This is a flat fast course.
St.
Charles Village of the Living Dead Haunted House will have ghouls on the course spooking runners so be prepared to be scared!! Also Included is a $2.00 discount into the St.
Charles Village of the Living Dead Haunted House.
Just present your race card to get your discount!!.

We completely understand that plans change and runners will sometimes be unable to compete in an event they've signed up for.
Unfortunately, refunds will not be provided for any event unless the event is cancelled for some reason..

Should a runner have an injury or other medical issue keeping them from competing in an event they've registered for then we would be happy to transfer their registration to a similar event up to and including the same event the following season with a written explanation of injury from a physician..

Transferring registrations to other runners is NOT allowed.
