(RUSH) is an award-winning, employee-owned, Small Business concern which, since 1984, has successfully specialized in serving the needs of the Federal Government, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the U.S. Air Force, and NASA in Central and South Florida. We are a graduate of the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 8(a) program and are a leading mentor in the SBA’s mentor-protégé program.. . Recently, in our joint venture with an 8(a) contractor, RUSH has completed several projects for the USACE including a $6.9 million, mission-critical, Squadron Operations Building at Homestead Air Reserve Base, and a $5.2 million, design-build Satellite Operations Support Facility at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, a LEED Gold facility. Additionally, we have also just completed the $3.1 million, design-build Combat Training Center project for the USACE at MacDill Air Force Base on the West Coast of Florida, a LEED Silver facility. In recent years, RUSH has completed over $39 million in design-build projects for the USACE alone.. . The majority of our general contracting experience has been with technically challenging and logistically difficult projects for aerospace and defense related industries. RUSH’s highest completed project stands at $16 million for our work on the DEOMI project at Patrick Air Force Base, and our aggregate bonding capacity is in excess of $30 million. We are proud to state that, to date, RUSH has completed over $83 million in projects for the USACE. . . In addition to our main office located in Titusville, Florida, RUSH also maintains a satellite office at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.
