As a kid I always ran the woods, following brooks behind my house, taking the gully to school, finding little treasures along the way.
I wondered why people would throw their junk over the bankings, and into the woods.
I would find so many cool things old junk cars and trucks, rusty cans, and tons of glass.
I would poke around all this cool stuff breaking any glass that wasn't broken, not knowing I probably just broke a $40.00 antique bottle, flinging a round piece of rusty metal like a frisbee, not knowing it would be a perfect piece for a rusty tractor wheel..
Fast forward 35 years, I'm still that kid running in the woods except now I have my back pack and digging tool, exploring behind the old farms, walking the the old rock walls finding those old treasure piles, but now I look at these rusty treasures and have a use for them.
An old rusty can, some cool bolts, old rusty pieces off a tractor or truck I want to bring them back to life in my new found creativity.
