Detailed description is I'm a 501 c3 public charity for Sage Brook Horse Foundation &Youth Program. Helping horses, youth,families and surrounding community's for a purpose. . Sage Brook Horse Foundation’s goal is to save the lives of neglected and malnourished horses, while providing opportunities for the community to get involved with rescue horses. We’ll achieve this by transforming “throwaways” into cherished horses that can enhance the lives of the children and community that get involved. Providing a safe place for both children and horses. Families can experience hope and healing by getting involved and working with the horses in hopes of encouraging them towards personal growth, and providing a sense of belonging. Sage Brook is working to provide a safe secure place for un-wanted, abused, and abandoned horses of all ages who are without alternative care. Kids and volunteers will be able to come and provide care and support to help bring these horses back to health. We will be nurturing both ride-able and companion horses (non-riding). Along with helping provide for these horses, I want to provide a free program for troubled youth, low-income families and isolated children. To match a child to the right horse is an important part of building a trusting and unconditional friendship. Come and be a part of these horses lives to help them bond with the animals and as result giving the kids a new sense of belonging and self esteem to encourage personal growth, rewarding out look and achievements.. I am currently working strictly with the animals until my stand points are met, to allow me to open my doors to the kids and other members of our community. I am asking for both cash and physical donations to help get this program fully up and running. Any adult volunteers are of great help. My long term goal for Sage Brook Horse Foundation and Youth Program is to open my doors to the public as soon as possible. . . . Donations; . All donations will go directly to the foundation. Cash donations will be going towards various expenses such as: Veterinarian, Medication, Grain, Hay, Hoof care, Bedding, etc. . . Other Helpful donations include: . . Helmets, Riding boots (1 in. heal), feed/water buckets, shovel, rakes, Halters, Lead ropes, Hoof Picks, Shampoo/Conditioners, Blankets, Saddle pads, other useful items for both horse and riders. . . New and used items are more then appreciated! Time is also a valued donation, that is essential to the success of this foundation.
