Detailed description is This is a place for alumni, current students, and future students to come celebrate the Music Department.
The music department offers an innovative curriculum serving the college's liberal arts emphasis.

The Bachelor of Arts in Music provides the student with a comprehensive liberal arts education.
After successfully passing an audition and gaining acceptance into the Music Major, students will undertake 4 semesters of Music Theory, 3 semesters of Music History & Literature, 1 semester of World Music, 4 semesters of applied music study, 6 semesters of ensemble participation, 1 semester of music technology, a first-year seminar and a senior seminar.
In addition, students are required to select a minor outside the study of music, and complete the requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree.
