Detailed description is Santa’s Helpers is asking for your assistance to continue the Snedden Family tradition of neighbors-helping-neighbors. We are pleased to announce the continuation of longtime Fairbanks tradition previously known as Santa’s Clearing Housing. Originated by the Snedden family, as a way for Fairbanks-area residents to brighten the holidays of neighbors in need. Let’s continue neighbors helping neighbors.. As a project of the North Star Community Foundation (www.nscfundalaska.org), we can accept tax deductible donations by mail, paypal, credit card or in person. Please make checks payable to North Star Community Foundation, subject-Santa’s Helpers.. Our 2015 program will collaborate and support other programs to serve as many families as possible. Through donations of cash, food and gifts, a food box containing just under one week worth of food and gifts for each child was provided to over 200 Fairbanks households.. This is still a work-in-progress, more details will be shared as they become available.
