The Grinnell House, built in the 1900s, is one of the oldest homes in Winter Park, FL. It's a 2 story brick colonial and it deserves to be saved. It was located next to the historic Lakemont Dairy that served Winter Park for 50 years and was later bought by TG Lee, the dairy we all know today in the area and around the nation. Because the home was built so long ago there is not a clear documented history of the home or its inhabitants. The last documented transaction was from a Mary Groves to a Charles F. Grinnell in 1909, presumably with a structure on it. This would make the house over 100 years old. . . I want to save this house from demolition. If anyone knows of a non-profit that would be willing to help my campaign I’d love to help them raise the money to restore the home for their needs.
