Detailed description is Schroeder's Bar began serving customers in 1985. Patrons stopped by to enjoy a $1.25 beer, friendly conversation, and 25-cent pool tables! Schroeder's Bar opened in 1985. It is now permanently closed. A new bar business, Betty's, is now open in the same facility. The facility has two rooms. The main bar area sat a dozen at the bar and had a 42-inch flat screen TV, jukebox, three poker machines and one pool table. Additional seating was available around the poker machines and pool table. The other room is larger and had two pool tables, a 50-inch TV, and several tables and chairs. The larger room had been used for receptions, parties and pool tournaments. Games were 25¢ each for all three pool tables. Draft beer was served in 10-ounce glasses at $1.25 per glass. All canned and bottled beer was $2.00 each. Mixed drinks started at $2.00 per drink. During pool season, league matches were played Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
