Our volunteer services are offered at no cost to our clients. Our Services:. . Our primary mission is to provide free transportation for Fremont County residents to their medical appointments and occasional shopping trips. You can sign up over the phone, just have all details of your trip ready. We require at least a two-week notice. All transportation depends on volunteer availability. We also maintain and coordinate medical schedules for our clients. We provide some minor home repairs, light painting services, and other minor home maintenance. We provide the labor, the client provides the materials. This service is provided on a limited basis.. . Our Volunteers:. . We accomplish our mission through the kindness of our volunteer drivers, our Board of Directors, and our office staff. Our drivers include retired teachers, service members, single moms, laboratory directors, truck drivers, technical editors, and others from all walks of life. . . In 2016 our drivers clocked a total of 3,900 volunteer driving hours and serviced 212 clients. We averaged 115 trips a month, making new friends all the while. We pride ourselves by saying that of our 20+ volunteers 12 have been with us more than 5 years and of those 6 have been with us 10 or more years. This speaks to our level of commitment and the level of satisfaction that comes with volunteering. .
