Detailed description is Come visit our web page at www.sharingandcaringresourcecenter.net The Sharing And Caring community is a group of volunteers who believe in giving back to the community. We will soon have a new building that will house a storefront where anyone can come in and get free clothing and household items.. We will continue to add services offered there which include a have/have not list where you can sign up for a service you are in need of or a service you have that you would like to give to another. For example lawn mowing, cooking meals, housecleaning.. We also will continue to provide information and support to other groups in our area. We have a wealth of knowledge and information on other programs and can refer an individual to a service they may need.. We accept all donations including cash, household goods and clothing. All cash is put directly back into paying the cost of the rent and utilities on the building and all clothing is always given away free. Some larger furniture donations are possibly resold to help pay the overhead on the rent. But we first make sure that there is no one waiting for that specific item before it is sold.. We also support our neighboring ARC and Goodwill locations by filling any needs they may be short of and sending our overflow items there.. We accept volunteers of any kind and have lots of needs waiting to be filled. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer in any capacity.
