Detailed description is We offer mule and whitetail deer hunts and Merriam wild turkey hunts. We have a horse hotel on the ranch and also offer stays in historic sheepwagons. The RUJODEN Ranch is located in the Pine Ridge of northwest Nebraska. Ponderosa pine covered hills and rugged sandstone buttes occur on the uplands while Chadron Creek flows through the bottomlands along hardwood drainages that contain hackberry, cottonwood, wild plum and chokecherry. The ranch provides excellent habitat for mule and whitetail deer, Merriam turkey, mountain lion, big horn sheep, coyote and other local critters. We offer deer and turkey hunting for all seasons. Our historic sheepwagons can be used for hunting camp. The wagons are located in more remote areas of the ranch and provide a nice "hideout" and quiet place to camp and enjoy nature. In addition we can provide rangeland ecology and plant identification presentations at your request. For horse folks, we can provide a horse "hotel" with round pen, holding pens, water and shelter.
